Went out with friends last night to see Anton du Beke and Erin. Had no great expectations having never watched Strictly which is just as well. £40 to be totally bored for 2 hours. Best part of the night was the drink and chat before the show started. Live and learn.

I have to admit to being puzzled why you would spend that not knowing what was in store. Even if I knew what it was and wanted to see something, I'd still have to think twice about paying that.

brave of you to go and see dancing when you've never even watched the best known TV show on the subject (which you could have seen for free). Anyway, bad luck, but the lesson is probably to do the living and learning before handing over the money!

Agree with you all - went along with three friends who are all avid Strictly fans. Just got carried with the flow and didn't think about the cost until it was too late. Lesson learned - ask first lol.

Two loved it crisgal and the third was a wee bit disappointed.
