First e-mail I opened this morning was from the lottery. I've won a tenner. Should I read this as a good omen?

Yes you should! I saw your post and promptly checked my e-mails thinking wouldn't it be funny if we had won something on the lotto too and there was an e-mail with "News about your ticket!" just checked and we won five pounds! May our good luck and fortune continue :o)

When I get these emails, I've usually won a million Euros...

If I ever win anything, which is few and far between they put it into my lottery account so that they know I will spend it with them and they will get it all back.

We had a friend call in tonight, and he was effectively the first footer, and he was dark haired - so in theory a good omen. I would still rather have had a tenner on the lottery though!!!!
