I've almost finished a quiz about operas but am stuck on one.
Which opera was written after the composer was told "Well, that was interesting. Now would you like to write a real opera?" Truly stumped on this one and not sure where to start looking. Any help appreciated.

any letters??

And the opear that Wagner wrote after the Ring, was ...

Okay, Tristan and Maestersinger were written while the Ring was still a work in progress.

I think the only opera written AFTER the Ring was Parsifal.

So, this may be totally on the wrong track, but my guess is ... PARSIFAL.
Satyagraha?

Oh, I see ... I've got it now.

Not Parsifal, then.

Thanks folks, sorry I wasn't given any letters. I think the answer is Satyagraha because it's an opera being performed by The Met 2011/12. That's what I'm putting in anyway.
