Well, its a full moon tonight there has been speculation for many years that people change when its 'Full Moon'
Have you had experience of this or parhaps someone you know? Does it have an effect on our moods?
Have you got a story about it to tell us?

it's governed by the Tides so I can't see the connection somehow

You won't hear many psychiatrists working in hospitals saying that...

apparently a lot of sick/crtically ill people, especially elderly die when theres a full moon.
My Gran wouldnt cut her toe nails on Fridays or full moon something to do with the devil coming to take them away.
Well I absolutely KNOW that the moon affects some people. My husband has suffered from schizophrenia for over 25 years & like most patients, his symptoms wax & wane.
Though well controlled by Clozaril, his agitation usually increases as the moon reaches full status, particulary so at the moon's quarter.
As previously mentioned the word lunatic is derived from the observations of the mentaly ill in hospital & I know Staff & Doctors have a lot more trouble with patients on the wards at these times.
We can appreciate the funny side of the illness at times & have an inspection of his palms & teeth which often produces some hilarious reactions from friends!
