I am placing this `ask` here as I presume anyone who is into gaming will understand the ins and outs of my question.
I am looking to buy a Tom Tom for my son. I have a limited budget and don’t want to get him something which is not right for him. He is a class1 lorry driver and sometimes goes over to Ireland. Can anyone help me with this, as I havn`t a clue where to start.

Why do you assume that gamers will know about sat-navs? Anyway, my advice would be to go to Halfords and ask their advice. Most come pre loaded with Uk (Inc NI) maps as standard. As you don't define budget it is difficult to recommend one but I think it was either Halfords is Argos who advertised one with full European mapping for £149 on TV last night. Buy a daily paper and see if there are any adverts with offers.
