i don't really understand "he had charisma" - how do you know? when you see him on the telly he is either just preaching a sermon or kissing the ground?
He was very cute to look at was Pope John Paul.

when prince charles and camilla were here last week in glasgow central it did'nt cause traffic jams or anything
No its not fair Slinky - and neither is worshipping a bloke in a dress who supports and defends kiddy fiddlers. Though no doubt any protestors waving banners stating this will be kept well away and only the loyal worshippers will be let near him.
Yes Bednobs, but even preaching a sermon can show that someone has charisma and character. And I have seen him in the flesh at the Vatican, albeit not very closely. He had a twinkle in his eye an a lovely face and a lot of character which did show. And yes ummmm, he was cute to look at!
I always thought JP2 looked a bit of a thug. But Pope John, now, there was a sweetie - I'd have enjoyed a nice bowl of spaghetti with him.
well the pope gets a battering again to day, no i dont agree with his him or indeed respect him, but do other state visits not cause traffic and security issues, and no doubt the royal family do as well.
I have a picture of Pope John Paul in my bedroom...must take it down..lol
