Whats your views on the cost of the Popes visit? should his religion foot all the cost's of his visit?

The Catholic church is one of the richest organisations in the world so of course they should foot the bill.
They are a tad poorer than they were, due to all the compensation paid out to the victims of the paedophile priests.
i personally think he should stay away.

The pope is not the leader of a country. Whether said leader is a despot or not is neither here not there... Although paying for Robert Mugabe is only marginally less offensive to me than paying for the pope. I hope he is pelted with eggs personally.
