Yet again this man refuses to listen to common sense by refusing video technology to assist officials.
all you ever get from this man is no no no!!
my question why??
the goal england scored that was disallowed would have taken less than 2 seconds by the video ref up in the stands to sort out how can this not be good for football.
not asking for every decision to be called on the video ref as that would be stupid just dont understand why is blatter SO against it, seems he is quite happy for any team to be cheated by a bad decision by his wonderful officials, football is such a global game and the amount of money in it too, you wonder if there is something sinister going on with fifa!!

Well put Bernie :)
Yes, just as in cricket. The ref only has to put the sign of a screen with his hands and you get an instant decision via the big screen
Fifa say it will hold up the game, not as much as footballers falling over when breathed on
My fella always said Blatter was a berk - just made himself look an even bigger one after this weekend (I, personally had never heard of him so I couldn't possibly comment!)
Quite agree with you, We were cheated and we should all make our feelings known,
do they have a web site with a ''Contact us'' facility ?
Everybody that feels we were robbed should make their feelings known here..

Fifa had their new secret refereeing system installed this year thanx to Blatter, it is called karma................remember 66
Blatter, Platini and Capello should be thrown in the fountains in Rome. What an incompetent bunch.....
While I feel that there is a place for goal line technology in football, there is an obvious problem with using a video ref. Tennis and cricket, which use video technology extensively, are very much 'stop start' sports. The question is, at what point in yesterday's match would the referee have called on the video ref for a decision?

A goal line video ref who saw an obvious but not given goal could "wave an electronic flag" much the same as a touch judge.
