Im with this guy for 12 years, i fancy the pants off him, like most couples we've had ups and downs, he is a loving dad to our 10 year old, i want for nothing, BUT, and there is always a but, when he takes a notion he'll go on the beer. He wont answer my calls, knowing how much I worry, he still ignores my calls. Then when he is drunk enough he answers my calls, sometimes wanting to be picked up. Im loyal and easy going, im not a nagger, he'll even admit im not, I have a temper, but only when he does this kind of thing. Im not sure if I love him, i care deeply for him, and at the same time dont want to shatter my daughters life. DO I STAY WITH HIM?

Agreed , why worry about it, but in the past he used to do it alot, and I dont want to go down that road again. I deserve a little honesty and respect, feel I'm being weak when he does it.

why does he do it? - is it just to to wind you up,or is he upset over something? You really need to sit down and talk when he's sober, and ask him if he thinks that going on these benders are worth it if it's going to split you up
