I am 36 and have been with my wife (who will be 60 this year) for the last 13 years (married 7 years in October).

What do I see in her? This was the poem I read out the day we married (and it still holds true today):

I had no idea how easy you would be to talk to
And I never imagined that our early conversations
Would grow into such a strong friendship.

I never suspected that we would discover so many
Common interests and values, or that I could ever
Enjoy simple pleasures as much as when they are
Shared with you.

I never thought we would have so many warm and
Happy times together, or that your compassion would
Help so much to ease me through the rougher times.
I did not expect to feel so soon as though I had known
You for ever, or to trust you so easily with my secrets
And deepest feelings.

I never thought your support could make such a

It's simple.
For the bloke: Older women say thank you and make you breakfast
For the woman: Younger blokes are easily manipulated and controlled

never been into younger men, prefer a bloke with some life experience and a brain, I have always prefered older men even as I have got older myself.

apparently it was because I was able to talk about all sorts of things, didn't giggle and didn't want him around all the time...

Did the much older men thing in the past too... very much about emotional maturity for me.... some of the oldest men were really childish while Rick (19) was really sensible and a joy to be around..

Always went for older blokes when I was young, but married one same age as myself when I was 25. However, he seemed a lot older and more mature than others.

Now? - W ell I certainly fancy younger men (much more desirable than old fellas) but even if I had the inclination to go elsewhere (which I don't) I don't think I would stand a chance with the young men that I fancy!! But I can still dream.;o)

ive always liked older women, trouble is i am now at the age im married to one !! not quite the same somehow...
The only place im likely to get an older woman now is the churchyard !!

The best thing about an older woman is they tend to be a bit rounder and all their bits wobble a bit more, and that is meant as a compliment. You can keep all the size 0 gals.
