Marmite Roasties Again......think im addicted!

For those who don't know or have'nt tried them have a go there Gorgeous...(unless you hate marmite)
Par boil your spuds as usual then heat your oil but add about two (if your greedy like me) tbls of marmite then give the pots a good shimmy and roast as usual.. they come out golden and crispy and really really tasty, i may never have nomal roasties again! (wonder if it works with bovral?)

I'm sure it was Aunt Bessie's that used to do Bovril-flavoured frozen roast potatoes. Nice. Haven't seen them for a while, alas.
I hate marmite but it's nice in gravy...

I might try the spuds..
If you use bovril, try using Goose fat instead of oil - fantastic!
I`ve done them in goose fat with mustard and a sprinkling of flour, they are delicious
