Whilst in the 'Ladies' in Morrisons a member of Morrisons Staff came in, replaced the loo rolls, inspected the cubicles, and then went to the loo herself. She then went out onto the shop floor without washing her hands.
NoMercy....in the village here we have a butcher who washes his hands in full view of the customers and after drying them puts on gloves to serve the next customer.
Is his name Nick? We had an English butcher with a concession in Iceland, Benissa, but he packed up recently and didn't leave a forwarding address. lol
morning Lottie, I agree with No Mercy, they could give all staff a reminder, although adults shouldn't need one should they? You could still contact the actual store anonymously. Tell them the day/time you were there & they'd know who was working during those hours.
How many people who don't wash their hands then go and touch the door handles and the locks and surfaces etc... where you will put your nice clean hands? Just a thought.
(I always wash my hands in case anyone wonders, just thought I'd add that to the mix).
China I do think of that and when coming out of a public loo - which I try not to use if at all possible - I use my elbows - everywhere else I don't think about it
Sqad - am I right in thinking that the NHS are considering installing copper taps, door handles, etc., as certain germs and viruses cannot live on copper?
By the way, perhaps I am out of touch but they had a new hand washing system in that Morrisons. You just put your hands in recess in the wall containing a sink and a bit of liquid soap comes down followed by about 20 secs of hot water, followed by a blast of hot air for drying. You don't actually touch anything. The trouble is I was so slow and looking for buttons to push that the whole process had finished before I managed to actually physically wash my hands. Kindly a patient lady explained the whole process to me so I could do it properly. I am a poor old country bumpkin!!!
