Has anyone got a magic formula for killing ivy growing on walls. I have paid to have it all chopped down to ground level. However odd leaves are growing. The person who chopped it down said, spay with SPK or creosote however both are banned substances and cannot be purchased. Any other solutions? Please,

any weed killer with Glyphosate in should really do it, the poison will be taken down into the roots through the leaves and the roots should die off, may need a few applications (in dry weather)

Try Roundup or Pathclear theyre strong
I've always used Sodium Chlorate Weed Killer which seems to kill everything. Cheap enough from Wilkinsons and other places.
Mix a strong solution and spray/pour on the roots.
