'Suicides arent specifically excluded from life cover. But claims are often turned down because there has been a non-disclosure about the mental health of the insured and whether they have been receiving medical or psychiatric treatment.'

I copied this from todays Daily Mail.
many policys are 'accidental' death, which doesnt quite cover suicide...
Check out the policy exclusions � I believe that many life policies are available that include suicide cover, but will normally require the policy to have been in place for 2 years before paying out on such an eventuality � for fairly obvious reasons.
