a very expensive nurse!
generally a maternity nurse, although they are midwives, and midwives do not like being called nurses - in my experience anyway.
would you really wish for that ?
r u thinking of a doolah? sp
A Doula can be around for the birth and sometime afterwards to help out and care for the baby.
Maternity nurse/

A night nurse works nights; a wet nurse breast feeds your baby for you.
Are you thinking of this for yourself, or is it for a crossword?
A wet nurse is a woman who breast feeds your baby with her own breast milk. Not very common these days!
