troutater, your answer is so sad, I think you mite need to go out more and get a life, and as far as mj miming, he will play live, he would get away miming, and before you start I am not a fan as I listen to death metal
Never mind singing, can he dance now he's 50?
He will be there, which for a large number of his audience, is all that is required.

As I have said before, my personal belief is that pop stars should leave a body of work, and then go, legend and image intact.

There is however a massive market made up of people who don't care if their idol has aged - such things really don't matter for them, and it is they who will pay to see, and enjoy Jackson's shows.

Not for me, but that's fine, there is plenty of room in the world for all sorts of entertainment.

Back in July 1992 went to see MJ who was to play at Wembley, with a few friends - got there nice and early - queued up outside for ages - got in found a great spot - support came on - think it was Rosella - she went off after 30 mins or so, then a big bouncer type guy comes on stage in front of all 70,000 plus of us and says" MIchael Jackson has been taken ill on his way to the stadium - he will not be appearing here tonight!" and asked us to safely leave the stadium! - we all looked around for a few moments and thought it was a wind up so we stayed there just ALL looking at this bloke telling us Jacksons ill and not coming - eventually we all left well gutted and dissapointed - but in true Brit fashion went for a pub crawl and a curry to follow, so it was'nt a wasted night after all -
Will the same thing happen to some of these concerts at the O2? ( By the way gig was rescheduled for August 23rd but i gave my ticket to a mate as that was the day i was getting married and turned out to be a really cool day! (Should i have gone to see jacko, instead?) - NOPE!

ianfran, are you asking "will the same thing happen at the O2" - i.e., will he be taken ill, leaving you to go for a curry & a pub crawl?

Oh, okay then. Yes, the same thing will happen.
