My bed collapsed in the middle of the night and the lift at work is still broken, well it can only get better and at least it's Friday :)

How's your day been so far?

Hahaha!! All earmarked for kitchen/suite/savings account :p
you got to use every negative as a positive-

My bed collapsed in the middle of the night-becomes a wild story to tell my work colleagues about how it got broken!
the lift at work is still broken-becomes a way to keep fit! just think ''lifts are for wimps!'' unless your on the 40th floor in which case our thoughts are with you!

Oh jen, sorry to hear that but it is funny! lol
Like you said things can only get better!
(Try and) Have a good day! :-) x
Oh jen honey , I don't know why that bought a smile to my face , sorry , are you going to be able to fix it or does it signal the need for a new one , what will you sleep on tonight sweetie ? xxx
:( sorry but i giggled at the bed bit

still, perfect excuse to go shopping :)

He he :) It made me laugh too :) I make make up all kinds of exciting reasons why (said with a demonic glint in eye) ;)

It's a frame with a middle divider with two lots of slats, one on each side but although they are fixed to each other they're not fixed to the bed and slip through (taking me with them lol).

The landlord's handywoman had appeared to fix it yesterday but she had just put the slats back and not fixed them to the bed, hence the collapse, but landlord just texted me to say she has a plan :)

I am trying to see the lift as a positive thing, burning off some more weightwatchers points :)

Wonder what the plan is ......
Watch those bad knees though honey :-)

I don't know but I am intrigued!

My sofa is very comfortable and sleepable on, slept on it last night after bed collapsing incident.

Seems like it should be fixed by later though! You can tell it was a handywoman haha, I came home yesterday to find my bed all beautifully made up after she did the work.

Arthritic knees are not appreciating all the stairs though I don't have much choice, at least I should get a bit fitter as we're on the 4th floor!

I might start a petition for a stannah stairlift to be installed ;)
I think its going to be a funny day, I havent been able to get to sleep at a reasonable time lately so lastnight got in bed at 10.00am unfortunately my bloke had fallen asleep on couch and its a nightmare waking him so I couldnt sleep as he wasnt in bed with me and Id knew Id be woken with a Why didnt you wake me anyway at about 2am I heard living room door open and then listened as he walked across hallway then straight into kitchen door ram ray style ha ha. Its usually open but when I have washing machine on I close it up. He finally got in bed and then the blinking washing machine started up and so did my bloke :-) I am so tired
