We had thunder this morning - I love thunderstorms. I have been known to dance around the garden in my nightie & wellies in a storm!

I was in Florida once and swam in the Gulf of Mexico, with the thunder storm from hell going on about me.
I did not figure why everyone was leaving the sea ....
Someone explained swimming under a storm was a dangerous occupation.

my gran (god rest her sole) use to open all the windows in the house if it was lightning !

she used to say that if the house was hit the lightning would be Abel to get out ?
