Many a good story came out of a rubbishing idea, and the opposite is also true.

I would suggest you actually sit down and start writing it. If you don't know how, get yourself on to a writing course or, if you can't do that, get signed up with Writers' Dock (http://www.writersdock.org) and take advice from the good people there.

Good luck.
The link came out wrong there, Eeneymush. It should be:

you mean a screenplay? you should be sure for a start that you have not subconciously regurgetated a previous storyline and also, forget TOM cruise he is too old. Plus, it does sound a bit like that show they are already filming in HAWAII.
tut, regurgitated storylines are all the rage in Hollywood now, Dot. That and filming comic strips, old TV shows and the like. For heaven's sake don't try to think of something new, that just doesn't sell these days, the studios all want stuff with a pre-guaranteed audience.
anyone who has seen The Player with Tim Robbins will think twice about such a career move

Wow, yous guys!!!

Thanks for the help, I think I will make a start and you can all be extras!

what would you recomend about getting it to the right media mogul though? is there a special way of writing scripts?
There is a special way of writing scripts. It certainly isn't easy...it will take time...and there is no guarantee it will ever get read, let alone put into production. Here are my tips: (1) Go to the library/bookshop (or, if you must, the internet) and get one of the many good books available that tell you how to write and sell screenplays. (Agents won't even look at it if it's not formatted correctly). (2) Go to the library and check out other published screenplays. It's useful to see how actual film scripts from real films are written. (3) There are various courses available for screenwriters that can help you refine your ideas into a proper script.

Good luck.
