Hi there,

This sounds really daft i know, it's like being at school if i'm honest.

I started working at my company around 4 months ago and there is this girl who works here and she was really nice to start with, but recently she has had a bit of an attitude and has been giving me looks for nothing.

I nearly accidently bumped into her today and she huffed and barged past me.

She just has a really daft attitude and treats me like an idiot basically.

I want to say something, but i don't want to cause trouble at work, but at the same time i don't want to run to my boss as if it really bothers me. It does bother me, but not in a sense where i have to tell someone as i know and plus nothing would get done anyway. I'd just be the office snitch - LOL

I'd like to say something to her, but i'm unsure of the best way to do it. I don't want to be nice and would love to be the same with her as she is me, but don't want to risk losing my job at the same time.

I have tried to ignore it, but it's bugging me now and she's still doing things.

What's the best way to deal with this, bearing in mind i don't want to start trouble at work.

Again, i know it sounds like we're at school, but it's frustrating, especially as i haven't done anything to her.

Thanks

But surely then i look like the weaker one..

As if i'm a big wimp, and i'm not

I'm angry and think, why should i be nice about it.

I know that sounds bad after i said i don't want to cause trouble at work, but at the same time i'm not going to look like a poor little soul that gets offended easily, cos i'm not..
Thanks for the advice guys..

I wouldn't like to go to a Manager as it's quite a clicky company and i think it would get back to her.

And yes, maybe a will approach her that way then, but i'll wait until she does something else

Thanks guys

Have a great weekend

xxxx
I would deal with this by picking your time to talk to her then say to her " do you have a problem or something with me and if you do then all I can say is that you DO have a problem with me,and if you dont have a problem with me, then you DO NOT have a problem with me comprende"
That sounds as if it might confusse her a bit but if she thinks about it she may get what you mean.

LOL Knobbynuts

That's usually what i am like - :-)

Just trying to do it the right way.. I Dont want to be as bad as she is

Thanks for the reply PPL

:-)

I would give her a kick up the crackers ..lol

sorry!

I think paul has the right idea, its the grown up thing to do, also it infers that she has the problem not you..
i think pauls right, just say it with confidence and as though you want to get the bottom of this, be firm and don't whisper

something like ''i've noticed you seem to have an issue with me and i'd like to know what it is?''.

you may find she has grounds for her behaviour - or at least believes she does - such as someone else has said something about you or she has misunderstrood somehting you have said or done.
You have to be the bigger person here regardless of how it might make you feel initially. Think ahead and imagine how you would feel if it kicked off and ended up with the manager anyway. You can deal with this like an adult and make her feel like a tit in the process. As suggested just ask her if there is an issue, don't ask if you've done anything wrong, just state that you feel tension from her and you would like to sort it out, in order to make for a better working atmosphere.
wen ur alone with her........whisper in her ear......'be afraid, b very....very afraid'. then walk away

either that or snog her....lol...so sorry. cudnt resist
rowlocks flora that sort of aproachp |(scuse spelling) does not work on a person like that as they are obnoisus ( oh my god how you spell that but you know what I mean) to normal thinking I have come across these sort of people loads of time and whattever you do or say to them they just will not responde to normal behaiviour
rosenicola my advise to you is be cunning and try to beat her at her own game as if you do she will fold very very easily as people like her normally crumble at the first time of resileiance (god thats a big word for me hope I have spelt it well) let us know how you get on by stuffing it next monday
knoby, no wonder you have no mates. Did you not read that Rosenicola does NOT want to start trouble at work and would like to keep her job. This is not about beating someone at their own game or being cunning, it is about acting like an adult in the workplace and resolving problems without causing more.
