Male red deer in Scotland, about 90 to 150 kg, depending on local food supply. Less in the breeding season when they can lose up to about 15 percent body weight.
150kg - I have seriously lost a bet! I'm a driving instructor and was telling one of my pupils about the importance of being able to perform an emergency stop when needed - related a story about a near miss I had years ago with a large stag on a dark country lane - said 'luckliy I braked in time as I wouldn't want a stag landing on my car - they weigh about a ton' - he disputed the 'ton' thing and now it looks like he was right! I'll get my coat ....
