Had plenty of wet and windy weather here today in Lancashire but in the last hour the clouds have disappeared and a beautiful sunset is emerging. Goodbye Dudley, and see you soon, Eunice.

Iow like time travel? I think not. It is very similar to the mainland, gridlock on the roads at peek times. Too many people here now,permanently. Not counting the ovener’s that besiege the place in the summer. There’s not sufficient infrastructure here by a long way. Very windy here at the moment, ferries cancels etc.

Although I live thousands of miles away, we are expecting similar weather over Thursday and Friday. High winds, rain turning to freezing-rain and ice-pellets, and up to 8" of snow...Great joy ahead.

After a wild and windy night, then a wilder and windier day with torrential rain this afternoon, we now have clear blue sky with a stunning Full Moon. Snow perhaps for Friday and Saturday.

N. Wales. Last nigh the stars were out and shimmering. Looks like the same again now. This afternoon the sky was racing through and gunmetal grey. The visibility was so poor you could hardly see across Conwy estuary.
