I have never been one to cry at things on TV. So why do I feel a wee bit weepy when the John Lewis Dragon ad comes on.

I wan't one for Christmas!

It never dawned on that the girl in the ad was based on Greta Thornberg!

Hi ummm. I feel really grateful that the net was not part of my parenting days, nor smart phones!
Aww that's lovely.
I like the Argos, Book of dreams, ad too with the dad on the drums

Yes, I like that Mrs LadyBug (whst a lovely user name)
I rarely came to the internet for childcare advice.
Nellie if you want a good laugh then MN is the go-to place! As your parenting days are over, like mine, you'll find out everything you did wrong!!
Thank you NellieMay.
Cant remember what the significance may have been at the time of inventing it. Was early in the days of my internet experience when I needed one.

We managed with no parental advice Zebo like all generations before us!

And I've just seen the Dog Trust Christmas advert and gone all weepy again!
I've just watched the dragon ad on youtub, isn't it nice that the villagers don't give a fig about having a strange creature living amongst them?

I know that wasn't the obvious intent of the advert, but maybe a deeper meaning of acceptance of your neighbours?

On that note, I'll add that no alcohol has been imbibed for that sort of un-alba-like comment :-)
I like the advert, a feel good story.
That was precisely the message Alba, acceptance.

NellieMay got loads of tissues handy?
Dog's trust ad led me to this

I cried at the Dogs Trust video and now I've just cried again at the RSPCA one! Good on them both for raising awareness.

Oh dear, Yes Rpca is another tearjerker. Thanks for posting Lady Bug. X

I never get emotional about humans- just animals (and toy dragons!)
