Butter on biscuits?

I love lemon creams which lately are very difficult to find.

I've heard of butter on biscuits. In fact, we used to butter the digestives. It has to be butter though, not margarine. At the moment I'm into Oaties. On sale at some Tesco, but not all. Last night Chris, I had some chocolate covered stem ginger cookies. Yummy!

Never heard of anyone putting butter on biscuits, except with cheese.
I love a digestive with blue cheese.
Used to love chocolate Hobnobs, but can’t let myself near them now. I’d eat the whole packet dunked in coffee.
