Can anyone tell me how the murdered old lady fit into the story last night? My attention wandered and I'd appreciate knowing before tonight's episode. thanks.
Must admit my attention wandered as well but initially you could think that perhaps her son had bumped her off or her careworker but thingy (Emilia Fox) worked out that in fact she had been in bed due to bad leg and had reached out to get up (I think). The table she grabbed was on wheels so it took her with it and she banged her head on the dressing table on the way down and died as a result. We may still have to find out what caused the initial leg wound though. Think they give everyone a case so they don't feel left out. I don't enjoy S. Witness as much as when Amanda Burton was in it. Hope the above is ok.
Thanks very much, Chris. I prefer Trevor Eve, or maybe that's a different programme? But it was certainly gloomier with Amanda Burton, and it's a gloomy subject, so she was good in the role.
Trevor Eve not bad - think he is in Waking The Dead. Personally I would prefer S.Witness if Ray Winstone or Sean Bean were in it - but will persevere with it as it makes my night to see my husband hiding behing a cushion when they start examining the stomach contents!!
My husband thinks I have very strange viewing tastes - thank God for Sky+ so that I can tape Trauma, Life of Grime, Medical Detectives etc etc otherwise I get stuck with Westerns especially now he has the Bonanza channel. Roll on Prime Suspect, Messiah etc.
