A better word would be 'reprobates', Jordy.
//shower of retribates for want of a better word// I would have said that retrobates was a better word. Sorry Jordy, I'll get my coat!
These are real people, it's not a Fairy Tale.

Hahahahahaham - mea culpa. Too ready trying to score points and can't even spell the word properly. Think I need a wee lie down, Scotland winning yesterday was just too much for me.

My words exactly, Waterboatman!!
I'm pleased I have Jordy, yes - real.
Crikey have you bothered to read history Jordy? This current batch of royals can't begin to hold a candle to the goings on of their predecessors. They are real people not automatons, this is their life, the only one they will ever get to have, so why should they live it as some sort of fair ytale contrivance to keep other people happy? The answer is they should not, and thankfully this generation are not. Why would you want people to be unhappy constantly trying to be unflawed simply for the sake of convention?

The Queen is a very wise lady, she has seen much change in her long life and is aware that things move on , like many a Mother,Grandmother, Great-grandmother she may not like all she sees but is wise enough to know that that is what happens and is happy to leave matters in the hands of the younger family members.
We have choices as we age and watch our offspring grow and develop - we can rage against the differences or embrace the more relaxed approach to life, duty and happiness.
Jordy you ommited Edward in your list .
I'm sure the Queen is not any more unflawed than the rest of us Jordy to be honest, she's just a very clever woman, who knows how to do her job well. I'm perfectly sure she's not an innocent little violet who is too shocked, I think rather she understands the mistakes that have been made in the past and is wise enough not to want to put her children/ grandchildren through the pain of that, and i'm not at all sure they would tolerate it anyway, times have changed.
