Don't know how long I can cope with CB anymore. Driving me mad on iPad.
If I click on a posters link 80% of the time I get frozen out. Nothing moves.
I have to close the site down completely. Then open things up. Sometimes it works other times it is still frozen. When is something going to be done.

If I click on the very helpful links theposters have posted I will be frozen out, so sadly I have to decline!

Had to switch off again and restart. Really rethinking my membership of AB.
I wouldn't leave because of it, imagine the hassle if you want to return when it's fixed.
Oi! Don't be mean, Caran! If you leave I'll miss all Mr Caran's antics.....I'll be forever wondering....

.....What's he done now?....... ;-)
Hi Caran,

Can you keep dicsussion of this over here please: http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/AB-Editors-Blog/Question1539417.html

We don't need 10 threads on it, and I can miss important feedback if you don't post your problems there.

You would miss this too, Caran:
Oh the irony ...tried to follow link ed put to where problem is being tracked and on page open my iPad Pro 128GB freezes on page being opened.
I don't think this site update was released to live site, it escaped :-)

Sorry I sound harsh , but I have just retired from an IT role where issues like this were not tolerated and simply did not get past testing phases to make it live.

Development testing
System intergration testing
Pre production testing
Phased rollout
Finally live testing
Then live .
But then again I managed software development on a global financial IT system.
did you have to deal with rogue ads, though? The Ed seems to think this is the problem here.
No change there then, lol!
@Jno - no we had to deal with client algorithm automated trading systems , coming in via various different protocols. We were measured in sub millisecond response times. If you can count to 10,000 in 1 second , a trade would be completed by the time you counted to 5. The playing field had to be level and we had to meet FSA compliance that was regularly audited. You earned the bucks , but with that came the responsibility to mitigate risk and ownership of problems.
Downtime was not an option.
However we had no adverts lol
