Severn Trent came round to check for leaks etc after I complained about drastic increase in bill.
He apologised and said the metre had been misread. The reader had mistaken a 1 for a 7, resulting in an error of 60 of whatever units they use.
He said this would result in a new bill for a considerable lower amount.
So I don't have to think OH was drinking 3529 cups of coffee per day or having 16 showers as they said the old bill equated to.
