what did you want him to do exactly, misquote Shakespeare? "She shall be, to the happiness of Canada and Australia..."?

Oh heavens!
Scotland, Wales and N Ireland- with England as well that's UK rather than Britain I understand
Not taking away the fact that she IS the Queen of England, just because he did not mention the other doesn't mean she is not Queen of them! Also if he had misquoted the Bard you can be sure that you would have jumped on him for that!!
Also as has been commented on Northern Ireland is not part of Britain.

It is either Britain and NI or The United Kingdom!
Queen of the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, Barbados, the Bahamas, Grenada, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tuvalu, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Belize, Antigua and Barbuda, and Saint Kitts and Nevis.
I cringed when he said 'Mummy'.
He doesn't do it often but he knows it gets a laugh when he does - I found it endearing.
Me too Sammy, my sons stopped calling me mummy when they were about 7 or 8 and I was promoted to Mum

Have I missed something or did the Beeb just show some film from Jamaica about what the Queen meant to them and ignored all other places?
Not a mistake at all, a lovely and apt tribute.
