"London", "Car Park" and "Cheap" do not appear in the same sentence. Not only is the car park expensive but you'll have the congestion charge to pay too.

If you must drive to London, find somewhere to park on the periphery & tube it to your destination.

Agree with mushroom. I come down the M1, stop at Stanmore tube (car park is about 2.50/day I think) then tube to London (off peak about 4 return). Miles cheaper and less hassle than trying to find somewhere to park.

that is great ...thanks guys...

sdsddean obviously hasn't been this year - it's 4 single from Stanmore now. Half that on Oyster.

6-30 for an offpeak travelcard which is the one to go for. Will cover any additional journeys you want to make as well.

Still the recommended way though - just adjust the tube station to suit the direction you are coming from.

Been about 9 months dzug. Don't get down there so often now. Remember when I used to get the bus to school in SE London in the 70's...it was only 2p!!
