This so-called secure waiting area for HGVs at Calais, with the trouble with these people that is causing French Port massive problems, costs, do you think that the whole of the area should be electrified fences? " NO" I do not mean Electrocute them, but the same as famers with their livestock.

I presume you're talking about containing the waiting people within electrified fences? Then what are they going to do with them? Better they put them in lorries and take them back to where they came from.
better than no deterrent at all. I love the way the French say its "our problem " whilst the offenders are still in "their" country.
Its easy to cut electric fencing, its no deterrent to humans, only animals who have no capacity to get around it ( except goats and sheep which seem to be able to get into anywhere they want -and shetland ponies)
Surely the simplistic answer is to remove the external locks from the trailers and fit internal ones controlled electronically by the driver of the vehicle. Two drop bars into four strategically placed 'L' angles welded to the inside of the doors closing edges would suffice?
Surely to goodness this can't be beyond the capabilities of some electronics engineers?

Would not work Bee, a desperate person would just Stanley Blade the Curtain, the curtain sider seems to be the biggest problem as the only form of security is the Cord that runs from the Near Side / Off Side of the trailer & meets at the Locking bars on the doors, that's the area that needs improvement. the best form of action is getting the French to sort the problem out, after all I'ts in their Port of Calais.
