There has been many comments of passengers and their own personal weight, do you think it's fair that a person that weighs 20 stone upwards pays the same as a person weighing from 10 stones up to the mentioned weight?

"There has been many comments of passengers and their own personal weight"
Has there? Where?
I weigh about 7 stone. On planes I am always sat next to large people who squash me, elbow me and generally make my flight uncomfortable. Should they pay more? Not really bothered, just don't sit them next to me.
If someone's luggage is overweight they are charged extra, why not do the same if someone's arse is overweight too? ;)

Doctor, Exactly.
"do you think it's fair that a person that weighs 20 stone upwards pays the same as a person weighing from 10 stones up to the mentioned weight? "

No. They are arriving at the same destination as the lightweight, having the same seat size (unless they pay to occupy two seats), receiving the same services from the airline. I think it's unfair to charge a heavier person more for airline ticket.
(Btw I'm a lightweight and petite.)
Let's not be naive here. The airline would be sued for discrimination.
What is the "mentioned" weight?
Who sets the ideal weight limit then? Do skinny people get a refund, are ticket prices per lb?
Good point, Sherr :)
Did you get squished en route or on egress to/from Australia TWR?
If it doesn't matter how heavy a passenger is then why should it matter how heavy a suitcase is?
One set of scales.

You stand on,it, with your luggage.

Instead of a "baggage allowance" you have a "travelling weight allowance".

Sorted
So if the average weight is say 12 stone and any thing over has to pay extra, does that mean at 7 stone I get a discount?
If that should be the rule, then some would not be able to take along luggage.

No Eccles, but I had to pay extra for my Luggage, whilst there was a lot on the flights that were FAR HEAVIER that myself and my wife

It would appear that people over 20 stone are already having to pay for 2 seats. Pity their staff don't quite get it.
Overweight people could go by boat. This of course would rule out holiday destinations such as chad.
When you travel, do you want to be treated like a human being or do you want to be treated like a piece of cargo? People are people and they are treated as such when they travel. I bet you wouldn`t be asking this question if you weighed 25 stone
And as far as needing two seats is concerned, that is governed by bulk, not weight.

The Q was not intended as an insult, it was ask to see if the charges was fair, but I did expect some to twist the Q.
