Morning, thetaliesin. Yes, each to their own, but I don't see how age should be a factor in the exchange of gifts. Everyone should be allowed to enjoy the season, not just Children. It's nice to spoil those you love once a year.

That's sad to hear, josaphine. Why get a puppy and not treat it like one of the family. I couldn't leave a little dog outside all night. Poor thing is probably cold, lonely and frightened. :(

Pampered I will be alba. Across for dinner at the old family home, Mum and Dad, Bro' and SIL and the kids. I offered to help with the preparations but was told NO, on account of my foot. My delightful, new, next door neighbour invited me to dinner, if I was on my own and has insisted that I call round for drinkies on Boxing Day. At this rate I am going to have to extend mrs cooks' visa for Oz. LOL :-}
