Yep, that was the programme Robi. Well done. I love the hairy bikers.

I suffered last night for walking three miles, had toothache in my hip all night and couldn't get to sleep. It went off when I got up. grrrrr

Am off shortly to the Library and to the Post Office (horrible thought).

These are for Neti. I mention Alice a lot on AB, but perhaps not so much on this thread.

See you later

Alice is beautiful. I had one like that "misi" but she died of kidney failure in 2002. She used to say "mama" when she was hungry, and other people heard her so it's not just me!
No it is sweet and it is a bag .One of those across body purse type ones .Real leather and lined with lovely material with a built in purse and slots for cards etc .Mr S asked me the other day if I carried a couple of housebricks around with me in my handbag .So I'm all streamlined now .I really don't need to cart a dozen lippies and a swiss army knife about with me :)
I have to go out every day and I get things for my neighbour too and lugging shopping and a handbag is a pain as I'm forever hiking it up on my shoulder and it's heavy .So this ideal for my tours round the High St and Morries .Hands free !!

I spent ages fiddling with it yesterday and the words of my ma in law came back to .
We were on a plane going to Germany and across the aisle was an old duck fiddling with her bag and all the zip pockets .Ma in law said " That's a sign of old age you know " ...Hahaaaa.

Hope you are all Ok .Grey day here .Back later .I'm in the usual muddle .
Neti. We had had a cat who said 'mummmmmm'. A lovely blind ginger mog called William. It sounded exactly like Master LL when he was little and I was often shouting out, 'what do you want now' to poor Master LL when he hadn't said a word. Others noticed it too - is that your son calling you. Ah, dear, dear William.

Here he is. He was born almost blind, had epilepsy, slight brain damage and kidney problems. We had him for twelve years and he was so lovely and really enjoyed life. We would never have kept him going if he was ill or unhappy. He was such a character. He could catch mice!!

Your bag sounds great Shaney. As you probably know I usually only carry a very small handbag on a strap. Large bags cripple me.
Lovely pics Lottie, I do have a soft spot for ginger moggies...although the huge ginger & white beast who's now taken over in our gardens since the disappearance of killercat can forget it and clear off home.

Oh you had us fooled there shaney...I have got one small across body bag that I take sometimes, it's black leather but it's a bit shabby chic now.

I don't mind one bit ambling along with the slowcoaches neti or doing what I can for neighbours but this one takes the biscuit sometimes. She's very intelligent, can be a good friend when she's not 'off on one' and we have some great conversations...BUT she can also use her skills to draw people in and try to control them...but I'm always one step ahead. Biggest gossip going too, so I've learnt to only tell her something and not necessarily everything. I think she knows she'll never control me...no one will...I am a free spirit, ha ha ha...
<drifts off wafting arms hippy stylie>
I still haven't been to the Library, etc!! Must go and get showered and dress.

Have done some housework though!!

Right, I'm logging off.

Byeeeeeee
I win the prizey! I knew it would be a bag. I also bought one of those across the body bags from Claire's Accesories in Eastbourne before I went on the scandinavian trip. Very handy, esp as some of the group had their pockets picked on the moscow metro, and we had been warned so it was their fault. Wore mine across the front and under my jacket!
William looks gorgeous, so sweet.

lovely cats. I had a huge black tom when I was a child. he used to sit out in the garden and dare all the other cats to set a paw over the fence.
My sis is a cross body person but my boobs get in the way...I am also a kitchen sink in the bag carrier I am afraid.
this is my current bag brought by santa
its lovely, huge, very soft and sits well on my shoulder

http://i56.tinypic.com/2zggftj.jpg This is my latest M & S bag. I carry everything in it including a spare pair of 'you know whats' which I've never had to use yet but you never know do you!
Lovely photos of your pet cats Lottie. I'm not really a cat lover but I still make a fuss of my friends cats. I just wouldn't like to have one as a pet.
http://i51.tinypic.com/140b29.jpg This is Molly who belongs to the friend I've been to see today. She is 9 weeks old but is learning quick as she sits when told but still insists on having a nibble at my jumper when she feels like it. Good job it's an old one.
Her husband turned up one evening with her and my friend just couldn't say 'No'. He knows she's a soft touch when it come to any sort of animal.

I do believe it got darker later today. Yippee light nights are on the way :o)
Evening all, have we got mail or are we still here, cos I haven't. So pleased to tell you Jude that the ring saga has come to an end, I have collected my money and no problems of any kind involved. Now all we have to do is find your missing earring, or get you one you won't lose http://i53.tinypic.com/v8df9t.jpg

Come on people, we all know who the rightful queen is in any house where there's a http://i51.tinypic.com/2cmra1.jpg (PS I really like your boots Mustang Neti.) Love the photo of Alice with the turtle, Lottie, and I fell head over heels in love with Sweet William, he grabbed my heart. As did Charlie and Robi on the settee.

Yesterday after I had payed for some goods at the stationer's and was hurriedly leaving, the guy at the paydesk called me back and informed me I had just tried to do a pay-and-run, ha ha ha, I had forgotten my goods. Pay-and-run, isn't that also a sign of old age, like endlessly digging in your handbag as Shaney says (I do that too).

"it started out with a little shove" http://www.thelocal.se/31284/20110106/
Love the handbags, I can never find one when I am in England, but always see them on other people! Ahem, woofy, bit expensive wasn't it. If I spend £15 I think thats too much!!!

Think I've starting spring cleaning, am washing all the loose covers and cushion covers, but the weather is truely lovely and really drying weather. I also valeted the car, and Henry was stuffed to over flowing, so all his innards have had to be washed!
the boobies have gone out for a little drink!

mmm Neti, Santa thought I had been a VERY good girl this year!
I think I would be better with a ring through my nose Kit then I would at least see it if it dropped out. That's 2 earrings I've lost walking down the bluudy paper shop. wont do it again. Thanks for your news about the ring have received your email.
You've started Spring Cleaning early Neti. Mind you I can't say I blame you if the weather is that good. I'm fed up of drying washing in my spare bedroom.
Question Author
Neti has Hija gone with them or are they allowed to go out alone?
woofy, I think the boobies go first and she follows closly behind!
Well, don't that beat all.

Hija had a small slice of roscon king cake and she found the little figure of a king in her slice, there's me eating most of it and no king only a bean and she has a nibble and lo and behold she gets the king!! I give up!
This is my bag
http://store.thegolde...he-body-bag-in-Taupe/

.It's fab and love it ! It's amazing what I can put in it .
Of course it's purely for local use .If I go to more cosmopolitan areas ,Norwich for example then I shall have to change to a bigger bag.
You probably all think that I'm totally nuts :)
I've been a bag fiend since I was a child .I have a photo of me aged about three with a dear little dolly bag and then I had a cardboard vanity case which I carted everywhere .

C'mon Shaney admit it ..you have a handbag fetish !

Lovely piccies of your pets .I'm not a cat lover but they are sweet .Lovely faces .
My friend sent me this today
