Hiya Biddies. Took Ibuprufen last night as a last resort as me ititisisisisis were really playing me up. I hurt everywhere. Doc. says I shouldn't be taking antiinflammatories because of IBS but the pain was just too much. Have had a three mile walk this morning and felt fine. It was lovely and sunny if a bit on the windy side!!! Must go back to the docs to discuss all this. Either out of pain with a bad tum or tum alright and in awful pain!!!

'Nough of all that. It is now dull and raining.

By the way, Robi, I have sat through all the repeated episodes of Downton Abbey at the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed them. Funny, Rob Collier wasn't at all fanciable in that.

We went to a barbecue on Sunday night, got home at 3.15am and didn't get to sleep until 5.00am. We were meant to be going out to a restaurant for lunch (our 39th Anniversary) and ended up dozing and watching tele and having eggs on toast for dinner.

Her op in Palma has been changed to thursday coming as there were no flights to get her on! - meaning the flights were all full with people returning after the hols!

I used Pinking shears for my Christmas Labels from Christmas cards. I did enough to last me for ever. I have very few presents to buy these days. In fact I didn't label them this year - I just remembered what was what and gave them to those concerned!!

No I didn't use pinking shears but will do when I trim them up next xmas. No lottie, it is a week on Thurs, tomorrow is a big fiesta here, like xmas so no ops.

Poor Robi, hope you and charlie get to feel better. Sky news says we are 21º, that is a load of bullocks, cos it is quite chilly!! if it was 21º I would go swimming.

Russian Orthodox Christmas tomorrow too Neti - but we don't celebrate that. We did when Mr LL's parents were alive though - although Easter is their biggest celebration.

LOL Robi. Mr LL and I were like that on Monday after the Barbecue on Sunday. We can't do late nights anymore!!!!

Evening all. What a wet day. Made sure I 'felt' the rain today or I would have been right down in the dumps.
Anyway the Dr. Cheered me up. I don't have to take anymore colitis tabs because of my blood and don't have to go back to see him for a month. If it recurs in that time he said he would put me on steroids just to clear it up then think about another sort of tablet.
Loved the scenario Robi of you and Charlie on the settee. I can just imagine it.
I've been flaked out this afto and had a real doze. I was up at 6.30 for the first time for about a fortnight. I shall soon get back into my routine though as I like getting up early and will feel better for it eventually.

Lottie I think that's why I get up early cos when I've lain in bed all night I wake up stiff and aching but it soon goes when I get up. Hope yours go soon for you.
I don't make Christmas tags with my cards but it is a good idea and I do have some pinking shears. I do keep them though until the next year then I work through them and send one to everybody I have had one from.
Going to watch Celebrity Mastermind tonight. Only just notice it's been on. Then will have a look at the last episode of Above Suspicion.

just had a really good pizza made with fresh ready made dough base, ham and mushrooms. DH ate two HUGE pieces....steak pudding tomorrow as I had no stewing steak in the freezer. I know I witter on about him eating but he has always been picky and when things aren't right, the first thing he does is stops eating.

Robi my two are settee sharers too...also bed sharers. Rab is ready to bounce up bright and cheerful but Shughy and I struggle a bit in the mornings.....not help by the fact that Rab not only bounces up, he bounces on....should have called him Tigger.

Mr N came home and came out of the kitchen with a face like thunder, and said "That wasn't for you" well he can be very stern sometimes, so I almost shot off to get a replacement, but then he laughed (it's not something he does too often) and ate a huge wedge himself.

Think I'd like to sit on the sofa with charlie, he sounds adorable!

somewhere (can't remember where) the epiphany cake has a bean or a tiny china king i it and whoever gets it in their slice wears the crown and is the "king" or "queen" I understand that usually, amazingly, its one of the littlest children that finds the bean or king in their slice.
