so sorry... couldn't resist :)
look down (across?) by the clock for an Icon to do with your graphics card... will say something like ATI or nvidiea if you hold the mouse still over it.
right click on it and look for screen rotation and put it back to normal

Can't quite remember, but you need to press a combination of something like ctrl and alt and the arrow key to make it turn back.

Ctrl + Alt and the Up arrow will return your screen to normal.
