Creative Zen Firmware

I have just sold my creative zen touch to a friend however I have been running vista on my PC and updated the zen's firmware, she runs on XP and it does not recognize the zen, how can I solve this problem??

not familiar with this player ... but
can't see any vita specific firmware - and it doesn't make sense that ther should be any
(although I've been wrong before ... and expect to be again)
- most devices are just portable drives formatted with fat 32 and can be seen by just about any system.

the software that's used to transfer stuff (same with iTunes) will have different versions for different versions of O/s

if that's the case - just download the correct version

is it firmware ... or software

Hi there

Its firmware - what happened was creative had no drivers for my zen to work with vista so i downloaded for sureplay so could run it through media player, she has the creative software on her PC and wants to run it with that but it does not recognise it. AT first the PC did not even see the hardware but now it does ?? -anyway what we should do you say is re format the zen and reload the software? sorry I am not good with computers.
