Deleting emails

I can't delete emails from my Inbox. I keep getting the message : "The service is currently unavailable. Try again later". This also happens when I try to move an email to a folder.

I'm on XP Home. Hotmail is my default account.

I also have Outlook Express. Do I need to keep it, or can I delete it from my system??

Thanks for any suggestions.

What you've said is slightly confusing as you've not said what program you use to access your email..

I believe this problem is as simple as "Microsoft no longer allow Outlook Express (HTTP DAV) access to free Hotmail accounts" and this can be confirmed here:

Thanks for that Rich. I checked the site. It's cheap enough - considering that I'm a tight-fisted Yorky!
