Hi techie ABers out there .... I have suddenly discovered that one of my Yahoo email folders has got far too many emails in it, that I would like to get rid of. However, since updating itself, the system doesn't seem to like deleting more than 50 emails at a time, and I have to actually tick every single box and delete in "batches" of 50 or less. Does anyone know of a quicker way to get rid of them - in truth there are over 500! Many thanks, Chox.

Can't you click a box at the top that allows you to delete all 50? When i use yahoo that's what I do

er, yes, that's what I've been trying to do - but when Yahoo decided to do an automatic update, it just doesn't seem to like. No matter, will give it another go. But thanks for the reminder, anyway. Cheers, Chox.
Maybe you are right- the tick box now highlights every email, so unless you want to delete them all or most of them (in which case uncheck the few you want) then it's not what you need
But if you highlight the top one on the page, press the upward arrow above the cntl key, then tab down to next email then the next and so on you can select then delete as many as you want. that still works for me- I have just tried it
I thought there was a 'delete all' option in Yahoo.
There is but I'm assuming chokkiewants to keep some- he/she just has too many.
