Good morning, Birdies. Another week begins. The tiny thing is going back to school today and I start a new, albeit temporary, workload. A colleague has been called up for jury service and I've been asked to do her workload as overtime. I guess it's nice to be given first refusal.

Have a great day everyone.

Thanks Arky, I'm sure he'll be fine. Try not to get licked to death this week :-)
My nxt door but one neighbour messaged me yesterday to say that the night before she had looked out of her bedroom window and seen the guy who lives in the house behind her beating up his teenage son, and she didn’t know what to do. I said she must ring the police - she didn’t have to give her name. She said she would if it happened again. She has literally just messaged me at this time - 6.40am - to say that her husband saw the guy lastnight headbutt his son in the garden, and then knee him in the stomach, and the son was crying. Ive said she must ring the police as nxt time the son might not survive. Hope you all agree with me.

Jesus Christ, Snow. Contact her and make sure she has called the Police, or otherwise do it yourself.

God knows what that poor kid has suffered but if the worst were to happen you would never forgive yourself.

I'd have called the police the first time. :-(
So would I, I e been away all weekend at my sons wedding - I only got back yesterday afternoon. I’ve just messaged her and asked her for the door number and said if she doesn’t want to ring the police then I will.

That poor child, the psychological scars will last a lifetime. :-(
Christ knows why he is doing it but I can’t see the house from mine.

Unfortunately Smow it is heresay if you report it as you have not witnessed it.
I’ve just spoken to my neighbour. She is just going to drop her boys at school and then come home and call the police.
//Unfortunately Smow it is heresay if you report it as you have not witnessed it.//

It's only hearsay when it comes to evidence. There's nothing preventing it being reported by anybody. I would think (well, I would hope) that the police would investigate such a thing however they came by the information.

Reporting it to the police might just save that poor child's life.

Morning, Bobbi. Lovely vista. Little one cried his heart out this morning and kept asking to go to Nanny's house. Nanny is sailing around the Caribbean but he still kept asking. I nearly cried myself :-(
Ah poor poor little man , I think after a long spell off like the Summer holidays, realising sets in , he’s obviously very close to his grandparents Lcg
Question Author
He loves Nanny and Granddad and they absolutely adore him. I think he was thrown because he isn't going to the same breakfast club any more. I dropped him off at a different place and he was all upset because he couldn't understand why he couldn't go to WACI. I hope after a few days he'll get used to it.

Smow - please will you update us about this poor lad. I can't stop thinking about him :-(
