Dont any faffy things - just browse as I have said.
Are you with Plusnet jj? They've been sending me similar emails lately and I just ignore them and nothing happens. I think they are trying to get more money out of me.
Well you have 2GB left and only 2 days to go til June, so why worry?
I posted after you jj. I don't use my computer for much either.

that was I thinking Chair - will leave well alone - thanks to yourself and ViV
You're doing more than browsing if you've use 8GB
Nothing.
Are you likely to use 2G in the remaining 2.5 days ?
Note that it was a busy month though. If it gets regular and closer to the limit you may wish to change tariff/plan with your broadband supplier.
I'm with bt, jj and I have unlimited broadband. For the small amount of money each month, it's worth it so that I don't have to worry when my daughter and husband come to stay.

Even when it's just me, I don't have to worry about going over because if I did, the charges are a lot more than what I pay per month.

I would think about going, "unlimited."
IMO the thing that makes all these new unlimited faster broadband non-starters is the demand "You'll need to pay by Direct Debit.". I have a quarterly bill and it's going to stay that way. No one forces me to give them open access to my money if there is any way to prevent it. It's immoral to even ask. (Or to try to force it by charging more of the company's collection costs to those who object without giving a better service/product for the extra charge.)
OG, you reiterate at every opportunity that you refuse to pay by DD.
Fine, pay more for your services if it suits you, I and millions of others are happy to use direct debit and have never had a problem.
bthomehub home

You will need the hub admin password - its on the back or the bottom of the hub. Youl'll now be able to check the event log etc. - see if anything weird shows up.
