Unusually, I'm not so tired after work ... so I've just enjoyed making a cheese, onion & tomato quiche in my halogen oven while listening to some music on my Kindle. So, what have you been up to? Back in a bit!

Hiya excel, great getting through the door eventually isn't it! What work do you do?
Had a couple of days booked off work. Celebrated wedding anniversary yesterday and spent today hiding away indoors (absolutely peeing it down all day) Back to the beast called work tomorrow, am in for a particularly long shift. Meanwhile, we have a new Indian takeaway opening tonight near to me. I will try my best to eat my way through a couple of dishes :)

forklift driver, through an employment agency (temp to perm)

excel!!! Sorry, for a minute your name didn't register with me! How's the new job going?
thankyou excelsior. I have to use forklifts sometimes. But only when desperate. When I have to drop something from the air, I more or less do!

Always, happy anniversary, how many years? Did you do anything nice? It's great just to have a couple of days off! Indian, sounds yummy!

Always, for you ... love this song ..
Cleaning. Got some ironing to do later then I'll be packing for my holiday :-)
We were supposed to go away for a couple of days, then a meeting at work came up with only a few days notice. OH wasn't impressed. I did a (romantic!?!) meal of rack of ribs with a sticky bbq sauce, corn on the cob, chunky chips and onion rings, instead. Admittedly all from the supermarket, no handiwork involved. Actually, Mr AC loved it. Married 9 years, hopefully many more to go

You hadn't pre booked anywhere had you always? How really disappointing for you both! Aww, I'm sure he appreciated all your hard work, not very relaxing for you though x
Question Author
Hi ummmm, where you off? I hate packing, not that I do much of that.
Off to Malta.

I'm not keen on ironing but it makes organising the packing a bit easier.

Aww, another nice song with always in mind ...
I've been at work since just before 8, have worked quite hard today including some gadding about between buildings that included getting totally drenched from head to toe this morning. I am now naughtily sitting at my desk looking at AB.
When I get home I'm going to soak my feet in a bowl of hot water, I've been cold and damp all day.
