I should have put this in Gardening!
Well, I love it Tilly, and yes, all my snowdrops have faded now but have been taken over by dozens of Chionadoxa (Glory of the snow) then should come the Grape Hyacinths........and so on (hopefully :0)
That is beautiful Tilly, one of the reasons why I like spring.
really nice
didja grow it yourself ?
It certainly is, Tilly2.

Our snowdrops are over now. The crocuses at the back in shadow are just showing and the daffs in full sun at the front are in full bloom.
We've also got some hellebores blooming. I'm not so keen on them, big waxy things, but they do give a wee bit of colour to a corner.
Our tree that always blooms in early spring is blooming too. It was here when we moved in nearly thirty years ago now and we still do not know what it is.
Pinky/white blossoms and it looks like a cherry, but it blooms very very early before the leaves are out.
The camelia is just bursting out now too....so not bad at all for now.
Looking forward very much to the azaleas and rhododendrons coming out later.
Very nice Tilly,we've got a lot of primulas coming to bud and plenty of tete a tetes in full bloom. The rhododendrons, the cherry and nectarine tree are all covered in buds and the patio roses seem to be coming on quite nicely so all being well by the time it gets warm enough to sit out we'll have plenty of colour to look at.

Any chance of photos?

Ladyalex, your tree, does it have russety, red leaves?
Question Author
I've tried growing helibores but they seem to get eaten.
Question Author
Hellebores!
Hi Tilly2 Yes it does have russetty leaves.
The hellebores I am talking about are big brutes, not the lovely Christmas or Lenten roses that I like. They are the Corsican Hellebore and we have never had a problem with anything eating them.

I have the same tree, ladyalex. Mine is covered in blossom, too. I have the name of it on some paperwork from the tree surgeon. When I find it, I'll let you know what it is.:-)
Primula here have been blossoming for a while...think that climate change has summat to do with it, even have geraniums coming along with roses...crazy time of it and there are some who deny climate change...sigh. I am seeing it and feel it is really happening...how can outdoor begonias which are annuals keep coming back...?
Question Author
Yes, dunnitall. We don't seem to have proper seasons anymore.
Thanks, Tilly2. I'd really appreciate that. :-))
A lovely clump of cowslips Tilly.

I often think they deserve a more beautiful name.
It's lovely Tilly. I don't have a garden any more so I've stuck a bird feeder in the council grass outside and they do try to mow round it (it's a bit on the wonk now)
I think cowslip is a beautiful name chip.
It says countryside and rarity to me, though they don't seem so rare now.

I like the name cowslip. It sounds gentle. Primrose does too.
