Just wondered. It's been very quiet on here. What have you all been doing?

We had a plumber come round at 10 to fit a heated towel rail and a new radiator and he's still here!
It's 6.30....Prudie......free the poor sod now.....go on..... ;-) x
I've made him 7 cups of tea so far! You don't recommend I lock him up in the shed for later then gness? :-)
Been in the workshop, working.
I need someone to change a lightbulb prudie (really high ceiling and I don't like heights) so could you send him to Perth for the rest of the weekend. He has to like cats as Princess Merlin likes men - she flirts with them and when they go to pet her she bites them.

Most of the plumbers I've met are geriatrics!
I went to see my dad. I took him a piece of my homemade ginger cake ....................and........................he liked it. That's a first.
Have you got nice neighbours Wolf? Mine came in and sorted my fire alarms the other week and I'd got new batteries but struggled to get them in.

I was watching Next Great Baker most of the morning, it's quite addictive! Then got myself out for some fresh air (been ill so trying to get myself more up and about) and sat and read my book outside with a coffee, rang a friend to catch up, did some clothes sorting (knackered myself out!) then cooked myself a nice tea. Now chilling on the sofa watching Judge Judy before Strictly.
That's what I usually do. Prudie.....unless Tony is in the shed of course... I mean I do have standards....;-)
No he'snot geriatric (could be my fantasy bit of rough) and he likes cats.
Eve - no idea who the neighbours are. They are new and I tend to keep to myself. I will find someone. I have a torch meantime! :-)
Took out most of the summer bedding plants to make room for bulbs, winter pansies etc
I have had my 8 year old daughter's disco today - the urge not to scream 'where's your bloody manners' at some of the kids has worn me out.
It is quiet isn't it! Maybe everyone's now tuned in Strictly (or will appear to escape it haha!). The sight of Artem's chest has cheered me up and I've got Ben & Jerry's Phish Food so I'm sorted :)

I had a few moments on the bus the other day Sherr, it was a bit like a zoo (not just me, some of the parents were saying it too!). It was like being on a moving contraceptive!

Mind you, after listening to a father lecture his young son, going on (and on...) about being good, consequences etc... I don't think him then answering the phone with "What the f**k" was setting a great example, the mind boggles!

went to town for a little shopping

also spent a few hours in the library on some preparations for my quiz night next saturday
didn't get up til 12.50, these happy pills are ace! been out for late lunch and a half of cider, lovely afternoon in the sun. Now making a late tea.
Eve - I wouldn't give them their party bag until they said thank you (I know, I am a mean cow).
chester races

some shootings in Manchester
Good for you :) Good manners don't cost a thing. I've found myself a fair few times saying thank you to shop assistants, staff in coffee shops etc... after some rude person has just ignored them, usually while on the phone, to make the point that I felt it was rude, as I'm sure the person serving did too. Drives me mad!

Dotty, can I borrow some of your happy pills? I could do with a lift!
