A quick look on Google for 'jailbreaking kindle' comes up with blocking ads and special offers, using custom fonts and screensavers, being some of the advantages. Plenty of 'How To...' advice, too.

I know nothing about Kindles and am not really technically minded.

It had been my thinking that 'Jailbreaking' in AB referred to Banned Members who return under a different Username.

i just want to add my own photos - just wondered if there was a disadvantage. (I only read the free or very cheap books!)
