windows 7

Is it possible to download Explorer 9 twice and if so how can I find out and erase it. Could this be the reason why I am being asked to to log in every time I open my BT Yahoo home page. I can bypass this by clicking on BT Yahoo logo on the top left hand corner of my screen.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Open Control Panel and head over to All Programs and Features and open it and then open all updates and scroll down until you see the IE9 update there should be only one if you wish to uninstall it and return back to IE8 you can do it here

thank you v much. I only have one entry for IE9 so my latest download didnt take effect. Still cant understand why I am being asked to sign in every time I start my BT Yahoo home page and why I can overide this request by clicking on the BT Yahoo logo in top left of screen
