Thursday. A clear sky this morning, a nice change! I might get some weeds oiked out, no doubt with some help from Snowy!

Tiggy is fine, he was out and about most of the night, having a rootle about out the front as well, he took good advantage of the mild night, most nights lately have been a bit too cool for him.

Snowy is alongside me, having rucked up her blanket to make it suitably untidy. Wee Tyke!

Teachers dont want their holidays taken by caring for chicks, so we get em back.

I'm a bit pooped after a full day in the garden pruning back the triffids..also cut neighbours grass..an old dear who fell and broke her ankle a few weeks ago it required an op and she has rods and pins fitted..ouch....so I have been popping in a few times a day to make her a wee bit to eat , tea , getting a bit shopping in etc etc it turns out I am the only one doing so even folks who have been here 40+ years haven't bothered..I am shocked !!!

I am having a quiet day,white wash to do..then going for birthday cake and balloons etc for an unexpected 70th birthday..uncle has come over from Holland for a funeral and his wife was 70 a couple of weeks ago..so he has invited a few of us out for a birthday meal...

Thats sad mm. I dont have a neighborhood but my client teachers have adopted me as mum, as theyre from Birmingham.

Progress has not all been good has it. The days when nobody bothered locking the door when they went out, took the washing if it rained when a neighbour was out etc. are long gone. Sad really.

My house is but my business is in town. I am retiring more as its getting too much for me now :(

There comes a time when your body makes you slow down whether you like it or not. Doesn't come easy though tam.

I'm going back to the fifties tam. No such thing then. Tumble driers cost the earth to run too.

oh nooo..not washing Tambo..you'll be surprised how short the days are when the time is yours !
