Of action today folks? ourselves, we were going to go to Blackburn but 2nd thoughts decided not, we were there last Sat & it was chaos, I don't mind the shopping, in fact I enjoy it but what I don't like Is the Idiots on their bloody mobiles banging into you instead of looking where they are going( No I'm not a Grumpy old fart ) well, I don't think I am ?????? so we have now decided to go to Boundry Mill, a massive Shopping shop near us, at least there you can loose the OH For an hour & if you decide, show her where the car is parked & "See You Later" Enjoy your day you lot.

Then I shall curl up and do the knitting people have asked for..... hedgehogs, dinosaurs and a funky scarf....

Easy day at work so decided to take a half day. Now to relax for the day, housework can wait until tomorrow.

My motabilty car is due to be changed in March and it takes 12 weeks to go through so we're going new car shopping.

Off for a walk along the seafront, followed by a look at the Christmas market, a bit of lunch, then supermarket.

I'm going to clean out the chickens, do some tidying and cleaning. Might do some cooking and then I am going to try and date some 19th century photographs and put some names to them.

My main task today is 'defrosting my haggis'.

No, that's not a euphemism - I have promised to take it round to some friends tonight as my contribution to the meal. It's been in the freezer since I came back from Scotland. Should have taken it out a day or two ago. It currently resembles a very cold, 2lb rock ...

I think I mighty have to use the "Chaos Defrost" function on the microwave ... I have never pushed that button before, and have no clear idea what it does.

So if a crack opens in the space/time continuum and we all go to hell in a handcart, it's probably my fault ...

Just cleared out the lounge ready for the carpet fitters who said they'd be here within the hour. That's an hour and twenty minutes ago.

Clean out chickens, raid the fridge to see what treats I have for them probably sweetcorn and yogurt, replenish bird feeders, rake the garden as every tree in the area has dumped its leaves in our garden, read the paper, snooze and if pressed cook something for supper.

Gonna go and get a new bed for the cat in a while !, then visit my aunt ( got any spare paracetamol, I can already feel an head ache coming on ).
