Wrong language in Google

For some reason Google reverts to Italian instead of UK English. anyone know how to stop this?

Unsure what you mean. But there is a settings page you can change and save. Including language.

You are definitly looking at http://www.google.co.uk and not http://www.google.ie

Either google.com or the link you posted is what comes up if I go to Google from my machine. However if I put in a Search term then the answers come up in Italian. Now no where can I find the word Settings on any Google page.

Which browser are you using; Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome?

It may be that your preferred language is now set to Italian. In Chrome you can set the language under settings/under the hood/web content.

It looks as if Google has had a recent make-over. And as usual in this world the end result is worse, less convenient, than it was previously. I know here is, or at least was, a settings page, but Gawd only knows where they are hiding it now. I have no idea why most seem to think it hilarious to inconvenience folk by forcing unrequired change on them. Google are particularly bad at this. Possibly jealous of MS's ability in this area and determined to surpass them.
