my internet browser is Tiscali. How can i be alerted when i have mail? At the moment i have to go into MY MAIL all the time.

Sounds like you need to set up Outlook or Outlook Express to retrieve your emails from your Tiscali account........

You can set your computer to make a sound when you receive an email control panel > sounds > sound tab .
